If you're curious about scoliosis and wondering if it's something you're born with or passed down from family members, you're not alone.
As someone who has undergone two major operations for scoliosis, I too had these questions. This inspired me to study and research scoliosis in-depth and find ways to support myself and others who were struggling with the condition.
From my research and personal experience, I discovered that the key to managing scoliosis is to listen to your body, trust in life itself, and most importantly, feel safe. It is important to feel emotion in your body and security for self in terms of boundaries and environment.
I invite you to join me on this journey of understanding, support, and empowerment for scoliosis as we create a safe and supportive community for everyone impacted by this condition.
After trying every treatment possible, I realized that simply trying to "fix" my scoliosis wasn't enough.
It wasn't until I started to truly listen to my body and understand what triggered my pain and what helped alleviate it that I began to see real progress.
Through studying and researching scoliosis, I learned that having compassion for my body was key, and I found that using natural oils and receiving massage was vital to my healing journey. But scoliosis isn't just a physical condition. I also had to work through body image issues and past stories I held around scoliosis, which required support from others.
In my experience, there is a strong link between scoliosis and sexual energy and embodiment of emotion, its linked to self worth and our ability to process emotion which is why it is more common in women. However, every scoliosis curve is unique and affects individuals differently, regardless of gender.Through my own healing journey, I discovered that relaxation and movement were essential for healing and integrating my past experiences, as well as mental and emotional support.
I also realized that a holistic approach was necessary, as traditional treatments were not enough. That's why I bring together different modalities in my sessions, including somatic work, ayurveda, and intuitive techniques tailored to your individual needs. Optional healing massages are also available.
Lastly, through my own experiences, I've discovered that many people with scoliosis feel isolated and unsupported in their healing journeys. That's why I now hold circles specifically for women with scoliosis, offering a safe and supportive space to explore physical and emotional pain and to learn simple tools and techniques for healing.
If you're struggling with scoliosis or related issues, know that you're not alone. There is healing and empowerment to be found, and I'm here to guide and support you on your journey.
